The tree nurery in New Zealand

New Zealand week 3: (The native NZ tree nursery)

More to come... in the meantime, whet your appetite with a few pics.

Measuring water levels for mooring boats.
Also useful for the kids who like to dive off the dock.

Repotting New Zealand trees.

Freshly repotted New Zealand trees. We did hundreds and hundreds of these.
Who knew "gardening" could be so hard on your back?!

White water - water mixed with lime. Runoff from the old quarry.
It has now been converted into a delightful walking area with butterfly sanctuaries, scented gardens for the blind, an open art space outdoors for local artists and beautiful lookouts supplanted with sitting benches in the most idyllic of spots.

Divers hunting for oysters.
